Who should enroll in this course?

Those devotees who are enthusiastic and serious about the study of Srimad Bhagavatam.


Course Requirements:

  • One must be 18 years or above in age.
  • As per the guidelines of ISKCON Board of Examination to pursue Bhakti Vedanta course, the students must chant minimum 16 rounds of Hare Krishna maha-mantra daily & follow the four regulative principles.

·         One can take this course only after receiving the certificate of completion of Bhakti Vaibhava from ISKCON Board of Examination. One has to submit the Bhakti Vaibhava certificate at the time of registration.

  • You must be recommended by an ISKCON authority who knows you well, certifying that you have been engaged favorably at ISKCON for at least the previous 12 months.

Study Materials


During the course, one will need the
Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam Canto 7 to Canto 12 published by BBT. One will be provided with Bhaktivaibhava Students Handbook at the beginning of the course.

 

Course structure & Assessments:

After every unit, there will be

1)    Closed-book assessment

2)    Open-book assessment

3)    Shloka memorization test

4)    Presentations

 

Attendance policies:

1.     Students need to have a minimum of 75% attendance per unit as per the policies of the ISKCON Board of Examinations.

2.     Attendance can be online or offline depending on the situation. Online attendees need to keep their videos on for the entire duration of the class.

  • Class Timings may change during the course as per the availability of the teachers or other affecting factors.
  • Minimum 15 Students are required to commence the batch. In case we receive less than 15 Students, then students may opt for another batch or can wait for next season when the new batch starts.
